WIGAn’s breakthrough indie band, THE LILACS, swung by for a spill the sound music session

The band performed three tracks: "Vicarage Road," "Where’ve You Been Hiding," and "Laid" by James.

In addition to their lively performance, The Lilacs also enjoyed a natter with presenter Louise Schofield about securing last-minute gigs, pulling all-nighters, sharing stories about dodgy music videos, their experiences supporting James, and rude road names!

Spill The Sound blends new and unsigned acts from the north, alongside RENOWNED headliners.

Filmed at The Yard Mcr, a former school in Cheetham Hill, Spill The Sound offers Northern acts a platform to film, show, and promote their music.

Hosted by seasoned music presenter Louise Schofield, the show brings back the charm of traditional music TV with fun interviews in a bathtub filled with plastic balls, playful games, and of course, epic live music.

spill the sound takes inspiration from classic shows like Popworld, So It Goes, and Snub TV, which helped launch bands like The Stone Roses.
