Un-Convention
StreamGM have partnered with Un-Convention - the renowned music event that brings together artists, professionals and organisations from the independent music sector.
The 106th Un-Convention will take place in person at the 02 Ritz in Manchester on the 8th and 9th July 2021.
The two day conference will reflect on how the industry and music scenes have adapted, the lessons we have learnt over the last year, and how the sector can work together to ensure a brighter future.
StreamGM will live stream the entire conference, and our co-founder, Marie-Claire Daly is one of the event’s respected panellists and will be talking about our multi-award winning United We Stream project and the future of live-streaming.
Joining Marie-Claire on the line up includes a host of pioneering artists, managers, venues, labels and promoters including: Frank Turner, Ed O’Brien from Radiohead and Mogwai's Stuart Braithwaite.
Mark Davyd and Beverley Whitrick from the Music Venues Trust will be contributing to panels on the current state of the independent sector along with representatives from the Association of Independent Festivals, Music Managers Forum, Music Publishers Association, Featured Artists Coalition and Musicians’ Union.
Artists from across the country will also be joining the discussions, including Laurie Vincent (Slaves), Sara Leigh Shaw (The Pearl Harts), Andy Carthy (Mr Scruff), Kapil Seshasayee, John Robb (The Membranes), Elisabeth Elektra, Steve Lawson, LNA, and Stewart Baxter (LIFE).
