About the album, lead singer Jamie Boyle said: “The long wait is nearly over, and we are finally releasing our debut album. It is fair to say it is a written journey throughout the last couple of years of our lives, throughout the ups, the downs and everything in-between. We've put our heart and soul into making the perfect record, and we can't wait for all our fans to enjoy it!”
From Earlestown in Newton Le Willows, The K’s have a huge, loyal following due to their impassioned bangers, relentless touring, & energetic live performances.
In the last couple of years they’ve supported Kasabian, Iggy Pop, Liam Gallagher, James and Blondie, enjoyed a sold out U.K. tour, reached number two in the iTunes charts with ‘Hoping Maybe’, and played just about every festival and live music venue in the country.
Notorious for creating raucous atmospheres wherever they go, The K’s have played the main stages at Isle of Wight, Neighbourhood, Tramlines, Leeds & Reading Festival. A few years ago The K’s became festival folklore when their tent at Kendal Calling had to be closed, with hundreds locked out trying to join the thousands of frenzied fans inside for their set.
The band have released a plethora of singles over the years, with streams comfortably in the millions including ‘Sarajevo’ recently breaking the 6 million mark on Spotify.
