These venues are the scenes of legendary nights out and gigs, and act as the proving grounds for bands, singers, comedians, MC's, DJ's, musicians, promoters and music producers from all backgrounds and genres.

Apart from providing engagement and entertainment for live music fans and the general public, the city-region’s grass roots venues play a vital role in the development of local, unsigned bands and artists.
