Over 120k viewers for The Hacienda livestream

“The event & stream was a living, breathing, pulsating shrine to an era where a club could pull no profits, yet still become part of the fabric, if not the fabric, of our wonderful wonderful city of Manchester.”

The Hacienda’s birthday livestream was a culturally significant event for Greater Manchester, and we were super stoked to partner up with the renowned brand, and shine a light on their landmark, 40th anniversary.

House music history truly came alive last Saturday night when the shutters flew up on what is now the Hacienda apartments car park on Whitworth Street, and hundreds of eager ravers spilled in, dancing and singing from start to end.

The eight Hacienda residents each played very different house music sets, which were also enjoyed by another 120,000 viewers watching the high-energy event unfold online.
