MainRoom Episode 2 - Not Bad For a Girl

StreamGM’s grassroots clubbing series MainRoom joined forces with one of Manchester’s best emerging club night’s Not Bad For a Girl to broadcast a live-streamed rave from a city centre basement bar.

The sold out club night at YES on Charles Street, saw an all female & non binary line-up featuring: NBFG residents Maracuya & Tht Grl, and double Bristolian headliners A for Alpha & Lily Huu, who went down a storm with a lively, back2back UKG, breakbeat and jungle set.

The sold out crowd at YES were joined by over 4.75k online ravers from all over the world, including: Australia, Switzerland, America, Spain, Balkans, Macedonia, Germany and New Zealand.

The audience partied to all kinds of music, ranging from old school house, warpy speed garage, heavy drum n bass, UKG, hardcore rave & jungle.

Not Bad For A Girl is an underground, home-grown, ethically-sourced collective of women & non binary babes with a shared love of music/events, and hatred of gender inequality.

MainRoom provides visibility for diverse communities, and captures Manchester’s current scene, direct from the dance floors of the deepest, darkest spaces, nightspots and basements around the region.

The series profiles vibrant and emerging events like Not Bad For a Girl , taking Manc dance floors beyond club walls and into living rooms across the globe, while building up an archive of the most exciting DJs and promoters operating in the city.
